Import from Site allows you to copy an old course to a new course. However, it is very important that you are in the new course when you use Import from Site, otherwise, you will write over your old course. Also, you must select all the tools when using Import from Site, otherwise, links will be broken. Secondly, make sure your tools match. For example, Gradebook Classic is the default gradebook in the Semester II courses. if you are using Gradebook in your most recent course, you need to go into Site Info => Manage Tools and turn off Gradebook Classic and turn on Gradebook, otherwise the Gradebook will NOT copy.

To copy an old course to a new course, you must be in your NEW Course

• Login to ACE at http://ace.uindy.edu 
• Select the Site Info tool
• Select Import from Site
• If you have not added content, select I would like to replace my data, otherwise, select I would like to merge my data (doing so will append old course materials to your new course materials)
• Select your old course
• Select Continue at the bottom of the screen
• Select the check box to the left of your course name (this will select all the tools)
• Select Finish at the bottom of the screen
• You will receive an email when the site import is complete
