Assign a Zero for All Students Who Did Not Submit the Assignment

Absence of a grade (null grade) does not negatively impact a student's grade. Therefore, a value of zero must be entered for all students who do not complete an assignment.

To award a zero:

Select the Assignments tool for your course
Select Grade for the assignment
Enter a zero in the text box for Found X participant(s). Assign this grade to participants without a grade:

Select Apply
