Many of you may have test pool questions with hundreds of questions from your publisher. These can be divided into sub-pools. You can then create an assessment drawing questions from each of the sub-pools. Perhaps you want to divide your pool questions into sub-pools based on the question topic.

This video (5:12) demonstrates how you can divide your question pools into sub-pools and then create an assessment from the sub-pools.

Note: when creating pools, please include your course name. All of your pools are in one location in ACE, having  the course name as part of the pool name will help you know which course the pool is associated with.
