Get free or discounted software and hardware
The following is a list of vendors that offer many software titles and computers at discounted rates for UIndy employees and students. In most cases, merchants request verification of student or employee status in order to honor the discount. The software available and discounts offered are at the discretion of the merchant and are not negotiated by UIndy. The merchants can change their offerings at any time without notifying us.
Office 365
UIndy students and employees have access to a free Office 365 account. Office 365 apps include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more.
Apple
Navigate to the Apple Store for UIndy discounts.
AT&T
Navigate to the AT&T Signature Program for existing accounts. Please note new AT&T clients must visit an AT&T store or authorized dealer.
GovConnection
Navigate to the GovConnection for discounted Lenovo computers & hardware.
Academic Superstore
Navigate to the academicsuperstore.com for software discounts for students, teachers, and schools.
JourneyEd
Navigate to journeyed.com for academic software discounts.
StudentDiscounts.com
Students may also purchase discounted software through https://StudentDiscounts.com. You will be asked to provide verification that you are a student before your order will be processed.
Below you can find information on how to create and register your account.
Create a StudentDiscounts.com account with the following instructions:
- Navigate to: https://StudentDiscounts.com.
- Click Log in located in the “Company” box on the left side of the page.
- Click Proceed to Registration within the "New Customer" box.
Register Your Account
- Complete the form.
- Click Create Account.
- Your account should be created, and you should be able to add software to your cart.
Verify your Student Status
You will be asked to verify your student status after placing your order. To verify your student status:
Email or fax your order number to the company, along with one of the following:
- Dated Current Student ID Card.
- Registration Receipt.
- Class Schedule.
- Letter of enrollment from school on letterhead.
